Cocoa the Bunny is a very big doll, approximately 30 inches / 76 cm tall when she is standing. She is quite a bit larger than Rosie the Bunny, so she has very long ears! Her feet have foot soles, but she is quite easy to sew. Sewing Cocoa the Bunny does require a good day's work, but the results are so satisfying, she will make anyone smile, adults and children alike!
Cocoa the Bunny can be sewn by a confident beginner who's done some sewing with a sewing machine, but I would recommend starting off with Ollie the Elephant's pattern before trying Cocoa the Bunny's pattern.
Cocoa the Bunny should be made with medium weight fabric such as linen or jeans. Cotton scraps will work fine for the ears, but crushed velvet will make the loveliest ears!
Note that my patterns all require the use of interfacing. Sewing dolls with interfaced fabric will significantly improve the structure and longevity of your dolls, making them easier to sew and more enjoyable to play with.
