You will receive 2 PDF files:

  • 1 file with the instructions,
  • 1 file with the templates.

The files are printable from a home printer, on A4 paper or standard letter paper.

In the instructions, I have tried to include plenty of photos and tips, while doing my best to create a file that will not deplete your printer’s ink reserves.

This Teddy Bear pattern is suitable for confident beginners or intermediate sewists who can sew with a sewing machine, can master a gusset, sew a sole to a foot, and can sew a few basic hand stitches.

The bow tie is very simple to sew and does not require any templates. Chubby the Teddy Bear is perfect for those who are looking to achieve a unique heirloom Teddy Bear that will impress family members and friends, and for those who wish to sew handmade gifts that will be cherished for ever. This handsome Teddy Bear is a big doll, an elegant buddy that exudes personality, and will therefore add a lot of character to a child’s room. Due to the nature of his joints, this Teddy Bear is not suitable for rough playing.

IMPORTANT NOTE
The finished Teddy Bear is not suitable for children under three (3) years of age, due to the use of glass eyes and buttons, which are choking hazards and should therefore be kept away from small children under three. However, in the meantime, Chubby the Teddy Bear will make a make a magical nursery ornament!
